Little Alex rushed forward, wrapping her arms around Hyun‑ah. “You’re safe now!” she cried, though her voice still quivered with the echo of the spell.
Pixel, steadying herself, kept her hand hovering near the glass. “Not safe enough,” she murmured. “The curse was broken, but the mirror is still a gate. If we leave it untended, something else might crawl through.”
Hyun‑ah lifted her head, her eyes shimmering with both relief and dread. “I felt them,” she whispered. “Shapes moving in the frozen world. They watched me, waiting for the barrier to weaken.”
How am I supposed to save her from a parallel world? If I ask Yumi for help, she might end up meeting another Yumi from another parallel universe 😄
