“Helena, did you do that?” Fairbairn asked.
“I… I guess so,” Helena replied. She still had a rudimentary knowledge of Ancient technology and the ATA gene, despite having a light crash course from Cate before departing Zulu Station as well as Doctor Jackson’s videos. “I wonder where the bridge is at?” she thought.
“We should probably get to the bridge,” said Larkin. “Fairbairn, go left, we’ll stay together.” Fairbairn and Helena nodded, and they started for the bridge.
The ship was not very large, only three decks tall. It reminded Larkin of a frigate he had been on with his grandfather when he was a little boy. He imagined Ancients walking the corridors going about their business, “I wonder what the crew was like?” he thought.

Eventually they made it to the bridge. There was a large captain’s chair in the center of the room with a large console three meters forward of the captain’s chair, facing a large window. Three other stations, also three meters from the captain’s chair, flanked around the bridge. All was dormant, with transparent tarps covering the consoles. It reminded Larkin of the story Doctor Zelenka told him when he first arrived on Atlantis. “The control room was all tarped up when we first arrived, left for us when the Ancients abandoned the city,” Zelenka said.
Larkin motioned to the Captain's Chair. “Helena, can you sit here, please? Let’s see if that will bring the ship to life.”
“Aye, sir,” said Helena. She prayed a little prayer and sat down. Nothing happened.
“Alright, go around to the consoles, maybe one of them has the activation button.” So, Helena went to each one of the consoles Starting with the one straight ahead of her. Still nothing.
