“Finding yourself”:a musing on a journey we all travel on ….

“Finding yourself” is an illusion.
You were never lost.
 You are not a coin misplaced in the folds of time but a light covered in layers of forgetting. Beneath the noise of the world,
beneath the voices that told you who to be,
your essence waits—
still, radiant, whole. To “find yourself” is not to seek but to return. 
It is the sacred act of remembering,
 of peeling away the false and the borrowed, 
until all that remains
 is truth—
the you that existed
 before the world whispered otherwise.
