The daily grind keeps grinding me down to fine grains of salt, ready to be used as seasoning for someone else’s story, what’s your story, morning glory. Oh, it’s not so glorious right now. 

No, the grinder’s still looking for meat, and I’m struggling to keep afloat. I’m so tired I just want to lie down and sleep, sleep, sleep blissfully until it’s all over, over and done. Sweet echoes of the past, back when things were dark.

I wonder. Is this what life’s all about, being grown up and all, running, running because you’re always lagging behind, trying to catch up with their darn expectations?

Oh, it’s such a relief to finally get home and cry again. Just you wait, Mr Higgins, just you wait. One of these days I’m back on track, and I promise, I won’t waste a single thought on you. Oh yes. 🙌
