Golden Goddess Descending

Personal project. "Once a queen of men, Ellyra the Golden gained the attention of Aurilles, the god of war. Though Ellyra spurned all his advances, Aurilles relentlessly pursued the golden queen - earning the ire of the gods and her husband, King Aganon. Mad with desire, Aurilles turned to Nersus, the god of secrets, and struck a bargain. Nersus would help Aurilles gain the love of Ellyra if Aurilles would give Nersus King Aganon's most valuable treasure. Through dark magic and treachery, Nersus sparked a war between the mortal realms, and spelled Queen Ellyra to fall in love with Aurilles once her husband was slain. For a time, Aurilles and Ellyra were happy. But then Nersus appeared to claim his price: Ellyra, King Aganon's most valuable treasure. Furious, Aurilles cast his undead armies upon Nersus, but Nersus used his illusions to spirit away with Ellyra. Now Nersus' queen, Ellyra pines away in his sky realm, doomed to love the god of war, while remaining Nersus' Golden Goddess."
