the AI doesnt handle negative prompts well. So instead of writing "without helmet" try to emphasize his facial features like eyes and hair. So it doesnt draw a helmet. Other thing you can try is the negative prompts like so ((((helmet)))) for each () the lesser the chance the item in the () will appear in you pic. ;) Also also, for a better face try "medium shot portrait" or "full shot portrait"
