The Gambler

Behavior: The Gambler actively hunts the player and manipulates the gamble zones to its advantage. When the Gambler is nearby, all games become harder to win unless luck tokens are used. The creature can throw explosive dice that ricochet off walls, creating unpredictable hazards. The Gambler also has a mechanic where it "bets" on the player’s survival—if the player lingers too long in its presence, the level's stakes increase (e.g., traps are triggered, or secondary monsters appear).

Trophy for Beating the Gambler (Medium): "Loaded Dice" – Awarded for successfully escaping the casino after surviving five encounters with the Gambler and completing a high-risk gamble zone.
