Even if you hate yourself for who you are, there will always be someone out there who can see your beauty and love the things that make you different from others. There is someone I love who is so beautiful and amazing but he cannot see it in himself because others don’t accept him and he doesn’t fit into society’s idea of what “normal” is allegedly supposed to be. He is perfect to me, and he is sacred to me, autism and all. If you have trouble accepting yourself, I hope you know that there are people out there who can see your beauty and accept you just the way you are, flaws and all. Learning to love yourself can be hard for a lot of people, and it’s still hard for me too, but I hope this work inspires you to accept yourself more and I hope it reminds you that there are people who genuinely sincerely love and accept you just the way you are, even if your circumstances prevent you from having access to those people. Remember that you are sacred, and that your differences are sacred.
