Inspired by something I did several weeks ago. A young woman from Guatemala has worked hard to become a commissioned officer in the Space Navy of the future. Now, for the first time in her career, she is serving as the commanding officer of a small ship. (I assume the Space Navy serves and protects *all* of Planet Earth, instead of just being loyal to one nation or a coalition of several allied nations.) 

P.S. In case you care, my previous published creation of a female Space Navy officer from Guatemala [is available here](https://creator.nightcafe.studio/creation/KJs8VMim5s9tmYjk7Wmu). If I'd been planning to make this a series, I might have specified the face of a real-life actress or model so that I could keep using the *same* face over and over. But I didn't have any such plans, and I still don't know whether I'll do any more about the same character.
