Another great nighttime rain image, well done. Small decisions in the pits can be make or break in these races. Not to mention all the preparation done beforehand. Sam and his foresight may have made all the difference here, to the eventual outcome of the race. I wondered whether this image from earlier in the story was going to be important. I think they call this "Chekhov's Gun" (the principle that small details introduced early in a story should all have an ultimate purpose - nothing to do with Star Trek by the way š).
Very effective with the darkness and the rain (hmm, I've been out on the road on a bike like that lately).
I'm not too familiar with US races - is there a night race like the Le Mans 24 hr? Is there an endurance Daytona event?
The unseen hero, master of little pieces, jumps in, jumps out - there they go - what about a big hand for Sam šš¼šš¼šš¼
