Ritchie feels so sad because Sparky was infected with Pokérus

Note: In this story, when Ritchie lets Sparky run off for a walk, Sparky suddenly feels ill which causes him to pass out on the ground. Then Ritchie waited for Sparky to come back, but he didn't and he immediately went to look for him out of his distress and found him on the ground passed out. Ritchie was trying to talk to Sparky if he's okay but he wouldn't talk to him and he got so worried that he was about to cry, but he was thinking of taking him to a Pokémon Center to see if he could be healed. When he arrived, he asked Nurse Joy if she could heal Sparky and when she tried to do so, she informed Ritchie that Sparky has Pokérus as she explained what she knows about the disease and how she was unable to heal him. Ritchie was disappointed and left heartbroken holding Sparky in his arms and sat on a bench thinking about how to take care of Sparky and decided to recall him back to his Pokéball as he teared up because he was used to him being by his side and that's why. 😔
