Clara read on.
Relatives (2) -
David Watlington [Lord Highclere’s nephew. Quick to anger. Had blazing argument with his uncle about money tonight. Stormed out of dinner too. Gambles and drinks.]
Elizabeth Watlington [Lord Highclere’s niece. Also argued with her uncle. Very emotional. Wastes money. Defends her brother.]
Staff (met 3, there’s several other house staff and three gardeners) -
Mrs Reynolds [Housekeeper of long standing. Wonderful woman. Close to Lord Highclere. Fed Caten. Looks after everyone. Found the body.]
Mr Brewster [Butler. Very serious. Seems efficient and trustworthy. Relatively new here.]
Lucy Eyelesbarrow [Serving maid. Nervous. Lord Highclere seemed to like her and trust her.]
Mrs White [Head cook. Not met her. Been here a long time. Makes excellent puddings!]
Clara closed the book and looked at Caten. ‘I think that will do. I’m sure I’ll have plenty to add after we’ve all been interrogated by the chief inspector. It’s time to find Peter and Howard.’
I love Clara’s order of priorities. She puts ‘Fed Caten’ before ‘Found the body.’ Great comment about the puddings. ‘Not met this woman, she might be a murderer, but she does a top job with a sticky toffee pud.’ 👍
A close-up picture of a happy beautiful Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald wearing a simple sleeveless 1920s-style silver and white evening dress writing in a book with a blue cover, and a happy cute golden-coloured cockapoo sitting on a bed in an English stately home.
