The farmer thought all his crops were just fine.
Everything was in rows of straight vegetable lines.
The corn still stood tall in the rain and never would ever complain.
Even cabbages and eggplants rarely caused any headaches.
The peas and beans stayed tied tight to their stakes.
Never let them loose, for goodness’ sake.
The farmer didn’t think there was any harm, by letting the celery and spinach think they ran the farm. The broccoli and cauliflower covered two acres, and are always well known as real troublemakers. The peppers get annoyed by others and think all vegetables need to have mothers. No one ever liked the Brussels sprouts, now they just seem to grumble and pout. The radishes and lettuce will blame anything on the potatoes, but most all the problems were usually caused by those tomatoes.
Most all the other farm-produce were very well-behaved, so far this year, but just wait until autumn harvest grows near.
