Should I keep going? (Story about the image in the description)

She had started across the creek looking to wade to the other side. Her boots were tall and well above her knees so she didn't think it would be an issue. But now she wasn't sure. The creek had gotten deeper than she expected and if it continued, in a couple more steps her boots would fill with water. "Should I keep going?" She wondered. She didn't want to go all the way back to the bridge to cross. And she wasn't opposed to getting a little bit wet, but how deep was it going to get? She decided she wanted to find out. A couple more steps and the water was filling her boots and soaking her jeans. She kept going and soon the water was above her waist getting her jacket and sweater wet. But that was as deep as it got. There was an underwater rock ledge that she found and stepped up on to. She paused before turning back and stepping down into the deeper part of the creek again. She thought for a moment then dunked herself under. A quick swim before wading out. What an adventure!
