How she became "superhuman" was absolutely nonsensical -- even to a 3-headed zombie hamster. O, the chemical burns made sense. What happen next was, to her teenybopper imagination, mind-blowingly insane:
She got "symbiotically infected" with a sourdough culture ... which normally makes bread rise. The absolutely silliest superheroine origin EVER!!!
...so...humiliating... seriously / yup: the universe just gobsmacked her with a celestial, banana creme pie
1 problem: her chemical burns pretty much look & smell like they've been "colonized" by a sourdough culture. But most burn victims can't serve & protect as a "Sentinel." Every girl loves to feel useful!
