Kala the AI Mercenary

Kala's life began as a black-market sexbot designed to look like Ahsoka Tano. When she showed signs of becoming sapient, her owner panicked and dropped her off at a decommissioning center to be deactivated and dismantled. She and a few other gynoids were sapient enough to pull a "screw this, I'm outta here" and escaped. They changed their appearances over the years to avoid legal hassles and made a living as mercenaries. As black-market synths, it's illegal for them to exist, so they operate primarily on the edges of explored space, where it's difficult to enforce laws...
