"Long is the road that I have traveled and though I am weary and the journey has left me bereft of the strength I had when I began it; I have stoodfast and held against all that sought to belay me, that rose to impede me, and that which caused me doubt. I leave the path I have walked these three score years with a heavy heart but a back and mind at ease for I leave my load within the hands of another suitable to carry it. A squire no longer, I present him to you now as a Knight in full and Champion to my former cause.
