While the Miracu’s form is hideous, few are likely to know: it’s true form is visible only to those in the mirror dimension. To all others, the Miracu simply looks like the prey it’s studied so well.

The look of longing from the Mirachu's eyes makes me sympathetic to the creature's plight. Perhaps it has lived a life of neglect, abuse and torment, and will do anything to feel anything else than its norm. I'm simply playing Devil's Advocate.
