Sszindra became a courier, then a guide, then something harder to name: a woman who moves people through impossible places and keeps them alive long enough to matter.

She dresses in black leathers and layered mail etched with subtle webwork, not for worship but for warning. A small amber lantern hangs at her hip, hooded and disciplined, its glow narrow as a blade. She speaks with careful economy, like every extra word might be taxed. In shadow she is unreadable, calm, precise, merciless to obstacles. In true daylight, she stiffens as if the sky has hands, and her gaze turns brutally honest.

Sszindra doesn’t seek redemption. She seeks exits.
