The Race Against Dusk

A vast, rolling green hill at sunset where the landscape is split into sharp contrast. The back half of the hill is already swallowed by deep, cool indigo shadows. Running toward the crest of the hill is a person seen from behind, reaching their hand out toward the very last, brilliant beam of golden-orange sunlight. This beam of light cuts through the dark sky like a solid, glowing path. Where the light hits the grass, wild poppies instantly burst into bloom and float upward as glowing, fiery petals into the air.
