Spontaneous Swim

The meeting was finally over and the presentation had gone well. She had been so anxious before the meeting and now as she stood on the beach she was relieved it was all over. The water was calm and lapped at her feet. She took a few steps foward into the water. The water was warm and she really wanted to go in further. She took a few more steps. She thought about the dinner she was supposed to attend in a little while. Maybe a little furter she thought. She tossed the heels she was holding back to shore a took a few more steps. She was now in well past her knees. Should I keep going she thought. She took a few more steps and now her jacket was starting to get wet. She pulled her hair up and held it on top of her head and kept going till she could barely stand. She loved being in the warm water of the lake, but here time on the beach was about done and she needed to get back. So she turned around and waded back to shore.
