Haulers are a generic class of vehicles designed for shifting large-ish quantities of goods and/or people from one place to another. Since the apocalypse 18-wheelers have become highly-prized as command assets for gang leaders and more powerful local autocrats, taking hundreds of millions of tons of dependable transport capacity away from post-America’s already crippled long-distance trade networks. Consequently, Hauler type vehicles have had to fill in as the heavy transport vehicles of choice for dependable(-ish) logistics. This takes a real toll on vehicles that were never meant to serve as the beating heart of transport commerce, and many break down every day.

After a spike trap ambush, this particular Hauler needs a tire change on the right rear, and the front right needs to be retreaded.
