Whimsical bulldog with beige cardigan sweater and haughty expression, sitting on his haunches, looking down at a long grey-haired tom cat sleeping on comfortable, shimmering red satin cushion with gold silk tassels. Golden walnut paneled study where a green 26 oz bottle of 18 year old 'Glenloughis' Scotch whiskey and two clean, empty tumblers are arrayed on a solid, high topped oak topped table. Golden lamplight from wall fixtures illuminates the interior of this small, book lined office warmly. Ultra-detailed, cinematic whimsical fantasy art, render this image as a thick, richly textured impasto oil on canvas painting.

Whimsical Bulldog and Cat in a Study, Impasto Oil Painting

Presto Impasto

After a right battle at close quarters .., we stagger up - clasp hands giggling whilst in pain and start to head back .. keeping an eye half open for attacks by the guests but if they get us so be it … I’m not sure how I’ll sort my now rainbow hair I hope the paint washes out …

Another Amazing East Tennessee Sunrise

Nestled in the valley,
     the valley down below.
Many eyes wander up
     for majestic sights they bestow.

Stately seated high above
     the valley and the hills.
Veiled in pillows of smoke
with all its rocks and rills.

But, wandering eyes of mine,
my back drawn to the west,
communing with birds and trees
and the views I desire best.

Mother’s been hard at work,
     painting brilliance into her skies,
imparting, yet again, another
     amazing East Tennessee sunrise.
