This collection incorporates image studies produced in the Surrealistic style of notable artists like Salvador Dali, Kay Sage, Yves Tanguy, Remedios Varo, Max Ernst, René Magritte, Marcel Duchamp, Pablo Picasso (for a short period) , Roberto Matta, Man Ray, Dorothea Tanning, and Joan Miró to name just a few out of the numerous artists, sculptors, and photographers that existed during this period. Their art was born from the subconscious fueled by drugs, alcohol, self induced hypnosis and lucid dreaming, the edge between being asleep and being awake.
