Instead, they can be the very things that give us the resilience to endure and the compassion to reach back for someone else. He moves from being a man obsessed with 'punishing the bad' to a human being dedicated to 'protecting the vulnerable,' proving that our greatest strength isn't our ability to stay hardened, but our courage to stay hopeful.
