Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary

Prayed on Wednesday & Sunday

Before each Decade of Hail Mary's we contemplate one of the following mysteries which all focus on a different aspect of Jesus' life and ministry:

1st Decade: The Resurrection of Jesus Christ (Jesus rises triumphant over death.)

2nd Decade: The Ascension of Jesus to Heaven (As Jesus ascends, He gives us a special task.)

3rd Decade: The Descent of the Holy Ghost (At Pentecost the Church is born.)

4th Decade: The Assumption of Mary into Heaven (The Virgin Mary is gloriously assumed into heaven.)

5th Decade: Mary is Crowned as Queen of Heaven and Earth (Mary is honored above all creatures.)
