A good deal of Detroit's already like that. So much so that I remember a proposed area once being sought to use for a very large Zombie games style playground. I believe the project was called ZWorld or something, aiming to make use of at least that swath. I'm sure it failed, likely on liability alone, it wasa survivalist game project and very cool.
You nailed the dystopian...or, that could be present day. Sadly. Nice work.
