Hijabis of the World – Transformation presents women from different cultural and geographic backgrounds at a pivotal moment: the decision to adopt the hijab with a mask as an expression of modesty, identity, and belonging.

Each composition follows a dual structure — on the left: before transformation, on the right: after.

The transformation is not portrayed as loss, but as alignment. Not as disappearance, but as emergence.

The mask plays a central role. It softens individuality while creating a shared identity. The mask unites — and the mask unifies. 💪🧕🌸🌿💚

The viewer is allowed to see what is later chosen to remain concealed.
