Found mainly in Gujarat, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, they blend African and Indian cultural influences. Their Dhamal celebration is an energetic ritual of drumming, dancing, chanting, and spiritual ecstasy tied to both African rhythms and Sufi devotion.
