This wasn't part of her morning plan. She had got her coffee and then went to sit outside and watch and listen to the surf rolling in on the beach. But as she finished, the surf seemed to be calling to her. She got up and headed out onto the beach towards the surf, rolling in. As she got close, she stopped and took off her boots and left them with her bag, proceeding to the edge where the waves were lapping at the beach. She went a little further, letting the water rush around her feet. She didn't bother with rolling up her jeans. She knew because of the wide flares, they wouldn't stay. The water was warmer than she expected, so she went a little further in. It wasn't long before she found herself struggling to resist as the waves rushed past, well above her knees. She went a little further in and realized most of her jeans were now wet. She loved how they felt and knew if she went any further her sweater would get wet. She decided she didn't care.
