It was supposed to be raining. She didn't anticipate that the skies would let loose as she walked along the shore at the lake. But as soon as she was too far away to rush back to undercover, the rain began. Slowly at first, then intensifying to a steady downpour. But instead of rushing back , she continued in her walk in the rain, accepting her fate. Now she flirted with wading in the lake as the rain slowly soaked her jeans and top. By the time she  made it back to where she started, she was completely soaked. She crouched near the shore, considering if she wanted to swim since she was already wet. At this point she was going to be wet the rest of the day anyway, why not add to the fun she thought!

i know its fantasy, ..yet  Lahar was an ancient Mesopotamian deity, associated with abundance and cattle, not destruction. 

 but the image is totally cool.

In this particular case, she is named after the volcanic event of the same name. I was unaware of the existing deity.
