Well, the answer is no. 😂 both Aya Brea and Melissa Pearce actually never know each other before the tragic events at Carnegie Hall on December 24, 1997, in the original Parasite Eve. But there things that made them connected unbeknownst by both of them. Eleven years prior, in 1986, Aya’s twin sister, Maya Brea, died in a car accident. And, Maya's organs were donated. Aya Brea received Maya Brea's right cornea, while Melissa received Maya Brea's kidney. (✿◠ᴗ◠)
