DSv8, SD 1.4 & 1.5 are great start images, V:
Grain & Grit: They have "dirtier" textures.
The advantage: If you want to avoid a sterile, plastic look SD 1.5 provides a base with genuine material defects, cracks, and uneven shadows. DSv8 is extremely good with rust, scratches on metal and skin pores.
Higher models adopt these "imperfections" in evolve (low noise), making the image more photorealistic and less "AI-smooth."
