Isolabella is plagued by night terrors. Every night she goes to sleep, wishing for peaceful sleep and sweet dreams. every night she is plagued by horrific nightmares, screaming herself awake
Makes me wonder about the story. Is she suffering from PSTD from a traumatic event? Is she psychic and seeing a horrible future event? Or is a demon after her and terrifying her in her dreams? Or is it guilt -- did she murder someone and is dreaming their ghost is haunting her? I love the painterly impressionistic look. and the whole look of the piece evokes narratives in the viewer's mind, I think.
What an amazing collection. I love the scenes 1 through 5. The emotion of needing sleep knowing that nightmares are going to plague her every time she falls asleep, the exhaustion that follows yet another nightmare. The images capture perfectly the horror and frustration of it all.
