Sailboat Races - The Deadly Pearl Series

As two of the smaller and slower sailboats finally crossed the finish line, the massive and dark ghost galleon, "The Deadly Pearl," of the famed pirate, Clayton Casterly, slipped out of the fog's edge. At the same time, the ocean became frenetic, with giant waves emanating from the Pearl. The winds became unpredictable. The normal clear turquoise waters near the Keys changed to black. Then, as quickly as it all started, the ocean calmed and the beautiful turquoise hues returned. Only now, there was not a ship nor small sailboat to be found for as far as the eye could see. Days later, the US Navy Search & Rescue Ship, the USS Reagan, found a black sailcloth with a skull logo on it, just like so many times before. No survivors or wreckage were ever found.
