The Emperor Pleads with Syndeeka to Save His Court From the Rampaging Clockwork God

Self-proclaimed "Diety Imperator" Fodineo Quabeno, ruler of the world-spanning Equoci Empire, had little patience for mercenaries, especially when they were caught escorting a hated political opponent. So he had this unruly band thrown into the dungeon beneath the palace. But they managed a bloody escape right as an astronomical alignment activated a mechanical brass god, which then began reeking havoc on the palace. That's when the Emperor sought an alliance with the mercenary known as Syndeeka, a former astronomer's apprentice turned sell-sword, to stop the destructive automaton. Author's note: The incident in the image is actually something just mentioned in two of my Syndeeka Fantasy stories: "Destiny's Casualties" and "The Divine Diamond Highway". One day, I may write it up in a full story of its own. I used 8 images to make this piece and drew the scars on Syndeeka's face. It was a lot of work. Hope you all like it.
