Quiltpunk embraces making something whole and warm from forgotten and excess discards. Its textile is testimony: each scrap contains its own history and every completed quilt carries threads of tender defiance. It includes (but is not limited to) these motifs and themes:
- Traditional patterns, memorial or protest quilts, secret stitched messages
- Quilts as shelter or like armor; mass community quilt displays
- Patchwork, visible mending, seams, recognizable scraps, hand-stitched patches
- Community quilting projects, passing on knowledge, warmth as resistance
All models and uploads are welcome. Just keep it on-theme and PG-13!
Boosted or not, I’ll tip the winner’s circle. Good luck! 🍀
