Fantasy stories are replete with essential themes of good vs evil, hope vs despair, friendship, love, honour and duty and these themes are never more evidenced than with the character of the Knight.

In this challenge I invite you to show us the character of a Knight, mounted or on foot, a bold and true servant of the king, a complex and conflicted retainer, a dedicated warrior of God, a traitorous Blackguard or something stranger. In any situation, race and style of your choosing, from what ever source you choose, even one of your own invention. What manner of Knight will yours be revealed to be?

This will be a ranked challenge with 12 hrs Ad, 1 day entry and 1 day vote.

Any format, checkpoint or add-on model allowed.

In the event it becomes boosted, reserve and and all downvotes strictly for entries that do not meet the chosen theme.
