Across lonely moors and within the walls of isolated estates, relationships formed in secret, strained under pressure, or were lost to circumstance. Some were never forgotten.
Today we want you to bring the Victorian era to life and show the relationships, settings, and moments that defined love in a time ruled by expectation.
Examples of on-theme creations could include:
  • Two lovers from different social classes meeting in secret on a foggy moor
  • A tense confrontation outside a secluded manor surrounded by open heath
  • A hidden exchange of letters between characters whose relationship is forbidden
  • A windswept reunion in the countryside after years of separation
