Challenge Criteria
Oceancore is the profound relationship between humanity and the sea. It draws from the range of the microscopic world of a tide pool to the crushing darkness of the ocean's deepest trenches. It includes (but is not limited to) these motifs and themes:
- Sweeping oceanic views; wave forms; fog banks; stormy seas
- Exhilaration and freedom of open-sea sailing
- Sea cliffs, rock pools, kelp forests, sandy coves and beaches
- Harbor towns, maritime culture, deep sea exploration
- The play of water and light; oceanic and maritime symbolic elements
Images breaking NightCafe community standards will be rejected.
