June 1st is World Children's Day, and we're celebrating the best way we know how: by handing the imagination over completely. You know that place your brain used to go as a kid where the rules didn't apply? Gravity was optional, a pile of couch cushions was a fortress, and the ceiling looked fun to play on! That's the energy we're after today. 🧸🖍️
Examples of on-theme creations could include:
- A massive blanket fort that stretches across an entire skyline, lit up from the inside
- A neighborhood where kids run the shops, the banks, and probably the mayor's office
- A crayon-drawn world where the sun has a smiley face and the roads go in directions that make zero sense
- A playground that keeps going forever, with slides that drop into clouds and swings that reach actual outer space
When creating your art, consider the following criteria:
- Creativity: Does your take on the theme feel original?
- Visual Impact: Is the image eye-catching and well put together?
- Relevance to Theme: Is the theme clear without needing explanation?
