Proverbs are one of those things that make total sense until you actually think about what they're saying... 🤣 Today we're taking familiar sayings completely at face value — no metaphors, no subtext, just the most literal interpretation possible.
Examples of on-theme creations could include:
- "The early bird catches the worm," a determined bird at sunrise triumphantly pulling an enormous worm from the ground
- "Don't count your chickens before they hatch," a farmer surrounded by floating numbers and charts while staring confidently at unhatched eggs
- "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush," a traveler carefully holding a single glowing bird while two others remain hidden in dense foliage
- "You reap what you sow," a gardener harvesting a field filled with giant golden crops grown from seeds they planted months before
When creating your art, consider the following criteria:
- Creativity: Does your take on the theme feel original?
