For this challenge, create an eclipse without the moon. Your task is to imagine an unexpected object, creature, force, material, or phenomenon powerful enough to darken the Sun.

Perhaps a gigantic eye closes over it. A black flower blooms across the sky. A celestial creature swallows the light. A floating city casts its shadow over the world. A tear, a mirror, a cosmic object, or something completely impossible blocks the Sun. The only rule: it cannot be the Moon.
