So you better check your breath before you get close enough to be out of your depth. She's the kind of girl that'll tell you walk as soon as you talk to her if you're staring at her nose ring and treating her like she's just a thing and not a person who loves The Legend of Zelda and don't even get her started about The Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask and before you ask, yeah she played them both on the original consoles, not some emulator.

Because she's vintage, she hints that she likes Yu-Gi-Oh and 70's vinyl albums like Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. She put the patches onto her jacket herself and she's proud that her nana taught her to sew.

Taybean Cressida, her neon kaleidoscopic hair a stark contrast to the inky night, crouched by the razor-wire perimeter fence. Beside her, Reecey Reno, mirrored monogoggle reflecting the fence's electric current, adjusted the timer on the palm-sized explosive.

"Three minutes til guard rotation, Tay," she murmured, voice low, but crackling with anticipation.

Taybean grinned, "Plenty of time for Mrs. Alcott's priceless porcelain collection to meet its fiery demise."

They weren't thieves in the traditional sense, they were more like mercenary vandals,  their services highly sought after in the cutthroat world of the ultra wealthy.

With a practiced flick of her wrist, Taybean launched the explosive. The world went white, the fence dissolving in a satisfying roar.

A hundred meters and they were blasting through the compound and into the vault, laying waste to the collectibles with their sonic jammers and having a right good time of it.

They made a discreet exit just in time.

Electric blue and sunshine yellow hair crackled with static as Caina Reyne spun on the decks, the crowd pulsed with heat and energy and she was recording it all.

She conducted a symphony of dissent. Her concerts were sonic riots, a fusion of pounding bass and glitching melodies that synced with neural lace implants, capturing the raw thoughts and desires of the crowd.

Backstage, amidst a tangle of wires and flickering neon signs, Caina wove this collective consciousness into a weapon.

Every head nod, every fist pump, became code in her digital arsenal, a chaotic counterpoint to the sterile control of the megacorporations.

She was conducting a symphony of revolution, bombarding firewalls with erratic code, generated by the cyberaves, she was going to bring the system crashing down around their ears.
