A sudden splash echoed across the water, jolting Peter awake. He squinted into the darkness, his heart racing. It was Jesus, his mentor, striding across the waves as if they were a marble floor. "Lord, if it's you, tell me to come to you on the water," Peter called out, half in desperation, half in jest. To his astonishment, Jesus did just that.

"Come," Jesus said, his voice as calm as the sea.
Without a second thought, Peter stepped over the side of the boat, his feet sinking into the cold, salty water. He took a deep breath and willed his legs to move. The water parted around him, and to his amazement, he found himself walking towards Jesus. The wind whispered in his ears, the spray misted his face, and the moonlit waves shimmered beneath his feet. Each step was a silent defiance of the laws of nature, each movement an act of faith.
