The Drowned is a medium undead creature, a sodden corps e animated by the malevolent forces of the deep. Standing between 5-1/2 and 6-1/2 feet tall and weighing 120 to 210 pounds, it exudes the essence of its watery grave. The Drowned attacks with sodden limbs, but its most fearsome ability is its drowning aura, which suffocates all breathing creatures within 30 feet. These undead often arise from shipwrecks or sunken islands, haunting shores and ship graveyards. They retain a semblance of their former intelligence, speaking Common and Abyssal .
