The Music Before Men

Before temples gave the gods their marble faces, there was music in the wild. Pan plays beneath a golden celestial light while nymphs drift around him like half-remembered spirits of the forest. Beside him, the ram watches in silence as flowers bloom among curling forms of horn, hair and vine. Neither wholly god nor beast, Pan belongs to the ancient threshold between instinct and divinity—a creature of appetite, wilderness and untamed beauty.
