**Takeuchi Seiho** (1864 - 1942) was a Japanese painter of the Nihonga genre, active from the Meiji through the early Shōwa period. He was one of the founders of Nihonga and a master of the prewar Kyoto circle of painters. He combined the realist techniques of the traditional Japanese Maruyama–Shijo school with Western forms of realism borrowed from the Impressionists. He was known for painting animals (often in amusing poses) and landscapes.

Hi Deacon, I hope that you don't mind me commenting here. I looked at a page of your prompts and the resulting images, and some of your results were excellent. You might have noticed that Dreamshaper does much better with fantasy type images than historical or realistic things like the Civil War Ironside ship; that used to really frustrate me! For an image like this one, you might want to try a different Waypoint like SDXL or Crystal Clear. Also, I might tweak the prompt a bit for extra details like "Super sharp, realistic *daguerreotype* photograph of *actor* John Wilks Booth dressed as Caesar in the play *at the Ford Theater, as seen from the balcony.*"  I liked your idea for the Ironside and definitely recognized how frustrating that type of result is; it helps if you can laugh about it 😉


Another part of my reason for "introducing myself" though, is to mention an apparent misunderstanding: you left comments about "how women age" for my friend @SharingART which were no doubt intended as humor, but unfortunately didn't come through well in text. In point of fact, they appear somewhat insensitive. Based upon what little I have seen of you here, I suspect that you are actually a gentleman, and I was hoping that you might apologize to her so that there are no hard feelings?
