After a night of surrendering to the pure joy of the cosmos, we returned to Terra Firma. Even so, we spent some time on the beach.
We stared up at the sky in silence. We locked eyes, sharing our most wonderous dreams without speaking a word.
I don't know if I was brave enough or if She was kind enough, but we had moved closer to each other. She gazed at me with a certain level of intent I could never have expected.
I found myself leaning in as She turned to face me. Her lips parted so slightly. I closed my eyes.
For one bright moment, I beheld the universe as She does. I only remember the feel of it. It can't be described with human words.
It was the greatest gift I could ever imagine.
I had found something truly precious like nothing else.
I had found Her.
