Below, the town lights blurred into a watercolor painting, offering a strange detachment from the turmoil within her. Taro's secret, the glint of that strange pendant – it gnawed at her.
Then, a memory flickered, a forgotten detail from an old folktale her grandmother used to tell. A hidden mountain temple, guarded by treacherous paths and shrouded in mist, was said to hold a collection of… ornately carved pendants, each imbued with a mysterious power.
